About me

I've been working in Multi media since I left school first doing General Art and Design and then 3D design Crafts Ceramics and Metal BTEC . After a bit of travelling I went on to do an HND in Modelmaking specialising in sculptural work.

While I worked as a freelance modelmaker I made anything that was required from fridge magnets to the ends of curtain poles!
In between times I made my own models to sell and started to teach various crafts.

Eventually I started smallholding and this is when I really started to explore the mysteries and delights of fleece and willow! After I completed a course on the theraputic and educational bennefits of crafts using natural materials  I started to run more and more workshops.

I have taught general Craft and Art Subjects to Students of all ages and abilities and  in many differant settings.
I love passing on my enthusiasm for the materials I work with and want everyone to enjoy the experience - I've found it's often the kids who are seen as the less able who shine and the people who think they are no good at art who benefit from it the most.
